Foll De Foix

Producer: Lavinaventura

Region: Penedès, Spain

Cépage: Parellada, Chenin Blanc, Muscat d’Alexandria

Year: 2024

Vinification: Grapes are harvested in stages. Chenin Blanc is destemmed and macerated on skins for 5 days, then pressed and transferred to stainless steel. Muscat of Alexandria follows with 3 days of skin maceration and partial bleeding of the must. Parellada is harvested last, destemmed, and macerated for 5 days before being pressed. The three musts co-ferment together in tank. Unfiltered, unfined, and with no added sulfites. From clay-limestone soils.

Tasting Notes: Bright and citrus-driven with notes of lime and green lemon. Subtle orchard fruit like pear and quince adds depth, alongside floral hints of orange blossom and acacia. Lively acidity keeps the wine fresh and zesty, with a light to medium body and a clean, textured palate. A touch of minerality on the finish adds complexity, making it a refreshing and versatile aperitif.
