LAVINAVENTURA

Lavinaventura is the project of Emi Gomez Ventura, who left a career in advertising to follow his passion for wine. After working with Oriol Artigas, he launched his own project in 2020 in the Penedès.

Farming small plots at altitude using organic and biodynamic practices, he produces expressive, low-intervention wines rooted in Mediterranean soils.

Lavinaventura Vins is the personal project of Emi Gomez Ventura, a winemaker whose path to wine was anything but conventional. Born in Buenos Aires and raised in Barcelona, Emi spent years working in communications and advertising before feeling the pull toward something more tangible. Eventually, he followed that instinct, leaving behind his previous career to reconnect with the land and with wine.

He spent three years in Alella, where he helped recover old vineyards and deepened his understanding of natural winemaking alongside Oriol Artigas. That experience shaped his approach and led to the creation of Lavinaventura in 2020.

Today, Emi works small plots scattered between Torrelles de Foix and Sant Martí Sarroca in the Penedès. The vineyards sit between 300 and 500 meters above sea level, surrounded by Mediterranean forest and rooted in clay-limestone soils. The vines, ranging from 18 to 50 years old, include Chenin Blanc, Muscat of Alexandria, Parellada, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

His farming follows organic and biodynamic principles, with a strong focus on biodiversity and maintaining living, healthy soils. In both vineyard and cellar, the approach is guided by minimal intervention, allowing the wines to reflect their environment with clarity and energy.

Lavinaventura is a project driven by instinct, curiosity, and a deep respect for nature, a journey shaped by both place and personal transformation.
