Antonio Gismondi is a fifth-generation winemaker, carrying forward a long family tradition of working the land. While his family has grown grapes for generations, he represents the first to fully embrace natural winemaking, marking a new chapter for the estate.
The project remains deeply rooted in family. His father is still closely involved in the day-to-day work, and the vineyards continue to be cared for with the same dedication passed down over time.
There is a strong sense of life behind the wines. Days are spent in the vineyard, often shared with his partner, in a rhythm that feels simple and intentional. Whether it’s building furniture by hand or taking a break among the vines with a coffee or fresh juice, the project reflects a way of living just as much as it does winemaking.
Antonio is especially inspired by the cycles of nature, and in particular the phases of the moon. This connection is reflected in his wines, with cuvées named after astrological signs, tying each bottle to a broader natural rhythm.
Above all, what defines the project is passion. There is a clear emotional connection to the work, and that energy carries through into the wines themselves, giving them a sense of authenticity and care.
