IFE VINI
IFE is a sister project to Lammidia, inspired by the idea of mycelium, a network of connections between people, nature, and craftsmanship. The wines are made with spontaneous fermentation, no additives, and no filtration.
Rooted in organic and biodynamic farming, the focus is on healthy grapes, gentle winemaking, and expressive, living wines.
THE WINE
Pietre Felice
IFE is a sister project to Lammidia, created together with Pietre Felice. The name comes from “hyphae,” the fine filaments that form the mycelium network in fungi. It reflects the idea of connection, a living network built between people who share the same philosophy around nature, craftsmanship, and the gentle transformation of raw materials.
At its core, IFE is about making natural wine with intention and awareness. The wines are produced simply, using only grapes that ferment spontaneously with native yeasts. Nothing is added, and nothing is taken away, no fining, no filtration. Any sediment in the bottle is seen as a natural expression of the wine, a sign of its authenticity and life.
The work begins in the vineyard. Farming follows organic and biodynamic principles, with a focus on healthy, living soils and balanced vines. This approach ensures that the grapes arrive in the cellar in the best possible condition, allowing fermentation to happen naturally and without interference.
In the cellar, the philosophy remains the same. Every decision, from fermentation to aging, is guided by ongoing experimentation and exchange with a close network of like-minded winemakers. The process is constantly evolving, shaped by experience, curiosity, and collaboration.
While the approach is minimal, the intention is precise. The goal is to produce wines that are alive but also clean and enjoyable to drink. Even within the natural wine framework, balance and drinkability remain essential.
IFE is ultimately about more than wine. It is about connection, craftsmanship, and the belief that working closely with nature can create something both meaningful and beautiful.
