PROFONDO ROSSO

Producer: IFE Vini Region: Abruzzo, Italy Cépage: Montepulciano Year: 2021 Vinification: Grapes come from the Ofena vineyard in Abruzzo, from vines over 50 years old. The grapes are destemmed by hand and ferment with about two weeks of skin contact. The wine is then aged for one year in used wooden barrels. Tasting Notes: Fruity and expressive with notes of ripe plum and dark berries. Medium tannins give structure while lively acidity keeps the wine balanced and fresh. Smooth and approachable with a rustic charm and a slightly wild natural character.
