Producer: Clos Fantine

Region: Faugères, Languedoc, France

Cépage: Carignan

Year: 2024

Vinification: Grapes are harvested at balanced ripeness to preserve freshness and fruit expression. Whole clusters are lightly crushed and fermented in stainless steel vats. The maceration is very short, around 3 days, with gentle extraction focused on balance rather than power. Early devatting is done once fruit and structure are in harmony. Aging is carried out in stainless steel to preserve purity and tension.

Tasting Notes: Fresh and expressive with aromas of red berries, garrigue, and light spice. The palate is smooth and fluid with fine tannins and a crisp, refreshing finish. An instinctive, free-spirited Carignan with a clean, vibrant fruit profile and a natural sense of balance.
