Producer: Liszt Region: Burgenland, Austria Cépage: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot Year: 2024 Vinification: Grapes are hand-harvested in small 8 kg crates. Maceration occurs with stems and stalks for 14 days, followed by a further 8 days of whole-bunch maceration. The wine is aged in amphorae and small oak barrels. It is packed into containers without sedimentation and left on the full lees without movement until bottling. Tasting Notes: Dry with moderate acidity that balances the fruit. Tannins are present but refined, enhanced by stem and whole-cluster fermentation. Flavors unfold in layers of red berries, plum, and hints of dark fruit with a touch of spice. The finish is clean, with lingering fruit and gentle tannic grip.
