Producer: Birgit Wiederstein Region: Carnuntum, Austria Cépage: Grüner Veltliner Year: 2022 Vinification: Grapes are hand-selected and kept on the skins for up to 15 hours, then destemmed and crushed. Cool fermentation occurs in stainless steel and the wine is stored on the lees until bottling. After bottling, a second fermentation takes place in the bottle with 11 months of lees aging. Tasting Notes: Fruity, elegant, and complex with fine, compact bubbles. Aromas and flavors are reminiscent of quince, with a balanced and refined texture.
